1 Chronic fatigue
Diabetes is characterized by the fact that cells aren’t getting enough glucose. The body doesn’t produce enough insulin, thus, sugar has a difficulty to enter the cells of the body. This lack of energy makes you feel tired.
Fatigue can actually be a symptom of many other conditions like cancer, depression, hypothyroidism or anemia beside diabetes.
Whether it is linked to diabetes or not, chronic or persistent fatigue should be monitored by a doctor.
